Jc Junior Hendrix

JC Junior Hendrix, 88, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

JC was born on March 24, 1936, to the late Charlie and Effie Hendrix.

In addition to his parents, JC is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Vivian Hendrix; son, Nick Hendrix, four brothers and six sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Becky Plyler, Kathy Campbell, daughter-in-law, Lori Hendrix all of Lenoir; grandchildren, Brandon Miller (Liane), Erica Hartley (Tracy), Charles Campbell (Britnye), Chris Campbell (Kristen), Brandi Hood (Josh), Matt Hendrix (Tabitha), Dylan Hendrix, Garrett Hendrix (Kalyn); fifteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

JC was a pistol.  He was a jack of all trades, he loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed sitting around, watching “westerns”, and telling tall tales.  JC loved his family and friends, always trying to make them laugh.

A service to celebrate JC’s life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Evans Funeral Service at 3:00 PM with Pastor Brent Dula officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family respectfully request in Lieu of flowers, donations be made to Amorem Hospice.
