Mr. Jay Douglas “J.D.” McGhee, age 58, of Lenoir, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.Born March 5, 1957 in Chambersburg, PA, he was a son of the late Delmont Henry and Nona Gwyn Sheets McGhee and the husband of Cynthia Griffies McGhee of the home. Other than his wife Cynthia, he is survived by two daughters, Annie and Tasha; and two brothers, Jim and Dale of Chambersburg, PA. Services will be held at a later date.
