Jason Wayne Bentley

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Jason Wayne Bentley, age 33, of Lenoir, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Born March 17, 1976 in Caldwell County, Jason was the son of Donald and Elizabeth Bentley. He was a member of the Central Assembly of God in Boone. He was employed by Fairfield Furniture. He enjoyed skate boarding, playing video games and watching movies. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Edna Lackey; and one uncle, Herbert Bentley. In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Melissa and Darin McKinney, and Sarah and Justin Coffey both of Lenoir; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Frances Bentley of Boone;  a special friend, Marcia Wood; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Jason?s life will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Central Assembly of God in Boone. Officiating will be Reverend Chuck Bristol. Interment will follow the service in the White cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Adams, Chris Barnes, Chris Shook, Toby Hyde, Jeremy Smith, and Robbie Bentley. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Ransom Beard. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Central Assembly of God in Boone.
