Jason Benge

Lenoir- Jason Ray Benge, 39, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Caldwell County on November 14, 1981 to Clara Austin the late Jerry Benge, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Virginia Pope and Juanita Williams; sister, Tammy Benge and brother, Scott Benge. Jason is survived by his mother, Clara and husband, David; brother, Joseph Hicks and wife, Brenda; sisters, Jessica Benge and Amanda Benge; brother, Jerry Benge,Jr. and wife, Carrie; children, Jocelyn Benge and Malachi Simpson; and 10 nieces and nephews. Jason will be missed by all. A celebration of Jason’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Cody Shew officiating.
