Jarrett Swearengin

Mr. Jarrett Brown Swearengin, age 86, of Lenoir, died Tuesday, April 4, 2024 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center in Granite Falls, NC. Born June 29, 1937 in Caldwell County, Jarrett was a son of the late Wallace Brown and Joncie Nichols Swearengin. Mr. Swearengin was a member of Miller Hill Baptist Church and retired from Kincaid Furniture. He served in the United States Air Force as a member of Strategic Air Command (SAC) for 4 years. He was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base, in Jacksonville, AR. He is survived by his son, Mr. Jarrett Dennis “Denny” Swearengin and wife Dawn of York, SC and 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mr. Swearengin will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, April 8, 2024 at Evans Funeral Service, with Reverend Steve Parker officiating.
