Janette Foster

Mrs. Janette Ann Harris Foster, age 65, of Ferguson passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born April 22, 1953 in Caldwell county, Janette was a daughter of the late Jennings and Nora Harris.Janette was strong in her faith.She was Baptist by faith and a member of New Hope Community Christian Church and also attended Beaver Creek Advent Christian Church.Janette was a homemaker and loved canning. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Harold Gwyn Foster; a son, Gwyn Thomas Foster of Ferguson; one sister, Kathy Triplett of Wilkesboro; three brothers, Carl Harris, Vernon Harris, Cecil Harris all of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Laura Gwen-Ann Foster and Ciara Elizabeth Wandling; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Janette’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Jerry Tester, Pastor David Blyth and Pastor Seth Tester officiating.Interment will follow in the Beaver Creek Advent Christian Church Cemetery.Serving as pallbearers will be Roger McLeod, Randy Hicks, Floyd Walsh, Thomas Hicks, Joseph Hicks and Reggie Hicks. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
