Janet June Clark Sweet

Janet June Clark Sweet, age 80, of Lenoir, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Caldwell Hospice of Hudson-Amorem.She was born May 24, 1941 in Avery County to the late Edmond Alexander Clark and Jeanette Elizabeth Clark.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Everette Leroy Sweet; her son, David Kevin Anderson; and several siblings. Left to cherish her memory is son, Dale Anderson and wife, Tammy of Lenoir; daughters, Penny Hefner and husband, Joe of Morganton and Pamela Hayes and husband, Jeff of Lenoir; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; brother, Creed Clark; sisters, Norma Shoemake, Yvonne Effler, Wanda Smith and husband Howard. Janet was dedicated to her Lord and Savior first and foremost.Her and her late husband were both involved in many church missions at Abundant Life Church of God.The light of her life were her children and grandchildren; she enjoyed working in flowers, writing poetry, singing and writing gospel songs.Her caring heart will be greatly missed; however, her family and friends find great comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior and reunited with loved ones. A Memorial Service celebrating Janet's life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the Resurrection Life Church at 1304 Hibriten Drive, Lenoir. The family would like to thank the Shaire Center for their kindness and providing care for their loved one over the last two and half years.We would also like to thank Caldwell Hospice-Amorem for their end-of-life services.
