Jane Fox

Jane Fox, age 72, of Hudson passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Grace Hospital in Morganton. Born May 3, 1947 in Caldwell county, Jane was a daughter of the late Wesley and Demple Sparks.Jane enjoyed sewing and making jewelry.She loved to read.Jane was Baptist by faith.She will be remembered by her family as a loving Mother and Nana. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, James Fox; a sister, Sue Calloway; a brother, Gary Sparks; she was also preceded by numerous aunts, uncles and a nephew. Survivors include her three daughters, Samantha Poteet (significant other, Barry Privette), Tabatha Christie (husband John Christie) and Jamie Fox (significant other, Tim Gragg); her grandchildren, Pamela Ford (husband Charlie), Randy Crump, Jr. (wife Hannah and Kevin Crump; her great grandchildren, Dalton Ford (significant other, Alexis Coffey), Jarrett Ford, Ariana Leigh Crump and Jasper James Crump; a great great grandson, Sawyer James Ford; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Jane’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Allen Younce officiating. Memorials can be made to Caldwell County Dialysis Foundation at 1208 Hickory Boulevard, Lenoir, NC28645.This is a 501C3 organization benefiting dialysis patients in Caldwell County in need of emergency assistance.
