James Perry Stanbury

Lenoir, NC- Mr. James ?Jimmy? Perry Stanbury, age 63, of Lenoir, died Friday, June 25, 2010. Born April 27, 1947 in Watauga County, Mr. Stanbury was a son of the late Perry Lee Stanbury and Mrs. Janice Stanbury of South Mountain. Other than his mother he is survived by his wife, Margie Evelyn Stanbury; 3 children, Keith Stanbury and wife Talley of Lenoir; Tommy Minton and friend Heather of Vale; Melissa Ollis and husband Johnny of Marion; 3 sisters, Marcie Greene and husband Matt of South Mountain; Vetty Woodruff and husband Dale of Lenoir; Jan Johnston and husband Malcom of South Mountain; 3 brothers, Gary Stanbury and wife Gina of Granite Falls; Edgar Stanbury and wife Kim of Lenoir; Scott Stanbury and wife Madeline of Lenoir; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Stanbury?s life will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 28, 2010 at Nazareth Advent Christian Church with Reverend Rodney Raby officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of Scott Stanbury.
