James Darrell Pope

Lenoir, NC- Mr. James Darrell Pope, age 60, of Lenoir, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 in Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born December 12, 1946 in Rhodhiss, Mr. Pope was a son of the late W.M. and Lucy H. Pope and the husband of Lorraine Pope of the home. Other than his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa Pope of Lenoir; Pam Kincaid of Morenci, AZ; 5 brothers, Johnny, Cecil, Floyd and D.A. Pope, all of Lenoir; Clifford Pope of Connelly Springs; 4 sisters, Ethelene Hollar of Dover, DE; Ann Taylor of Greensboro, MD; Irene Pope of Granite Falls; Hazel Childers of Augusta, SC; 7 Grandchildren, Danielle, Lora and C.J. Kincaid and Joseph, Gracie, Brandon and Josh Waters. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Pope and 2 sisters, Frances Harris and Ruth Church. Graveside service will be held 3:30 PM Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service from 1:30 until 3:00 on Sunday.
