James Calvin Helton

Lenoir, NC- James Calvin Helton, age 85, went home to be with our Lord on June 20, 2009. He leaves behind a wife, Nancy Margaret Helton, six children, Bertha Adams, Betty Everhardt, James Helton, Jr., Callie Johnson, Danny Helton and Gene Helton; seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Helton. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service conducted by God?s servant and family friend, Pastor Paul Dula. Burial will follow in the family plot at Hartley Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, June 22, 2009 from 7 until 9 PM at Evans Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be: James Helton, Jr., Danny Helton, Gene Helton, Marshall Robbins, James Adams, Jason Adams, Justin Adams and Timothy Helton.
