James Ray Courtner

Hudson, NC – Mr. James Ray Courtner, age 80, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Johnson City, TN on June 12, 1932 to the late John Courtner and Mattie Ward Courtner. He was married to Mary McEylea Courtner of the residence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Michael Courtner and Edwin Courtner; grandson, Chase Courtner; and 5 brothers and sisters. Mr. Courtner is survived by his son, Tommy Cournter and wife, Lisa;grandchildren, Kristen, Blayne, Jordan, Taylor, Megan, and Macie. A private service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Mountain City, TN.
