James Parks Byrd

Mr. James Parks Byrd, age 42, of Lenoir passed away on September 2, 2022.

Born March 30, 1980 in Caldwell County, Parks was a son of Wilma Byrd Milam and the late Stanley F. Bryan.  Parks loved the outdoors.  Especially hunting and fishing.  He was a truck driver.   Most of all he loved life and spending time with his family.  In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandfather, William Byrd.

In addition to his Mother he is also survived by his children, Preston Shell and Summer Byrd; his sisters, Amber Bryan, Nicole Milam, Beth Greene, Willa Coffey and Susan Howell; a brother, Jonah Milam; his paternal grandparents, Peggy M. and Raymond F. Bryan; his maternal grandmother, Mary L. Byrd; he is also survived by many relatives and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Parks’ life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Nazareth Advent Christian Church.
