Jacqueline Maloy Muldoon

Mrs. Jacqueline Mary Maloy Muldoon, age 73, of Lenoir, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014.Born May 4, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Stella Dennison Maloy and the wife of John Walter Muldoon of the home. Mrs. Muldoon was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and bird watching.She played the flute and was learning to speak French.She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and active in the Women’s Circle. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jill Anne Muldoon. Surviving other than her husband, John, are three children, Edward John Muldoon and wife Kathryn of Pittsburgh, PA; Michael Walter Muldoon and wife Carrie of Okeechobee, FL; Jacqueline Leigh Smith of Asheville; 2 brothers, Thomas Maloy and wife Vickie of Tallahassee, FL; Kevin Maloy of Anchorage, AK; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, September 12, 2014 at United Presbyterian Church with Reverend Steve Austin officiating.
