Jackie Chester

Lenoir – Jackie Justice Chester, age 69, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on January 29, 1951 to the late Everett and Mamie Price Justice. She was married for 49 years to Roger Chester of the residence. Jackie was a member of Central Baptist Church in Whitnel and also attended Hibriten Baptist Church. She was employed at Broyhill Furniture Industries for 34 years. Jackie was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be remembered for her kindness toward everyone.She provided many different opportunities for her son and grandchildren, from attending all their activities to teaching lessons in life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Everett Justice, Jr. and her sister, Salonge Birdsong. Other than her husband, Jackie is survived by her son, Jason Chester; granddaugther, Kamie Chester; grandson, Calupe Triplett; nephew, Sheldon Birdsong; and other family members. A graveside service will be held at Clark Cemetery in Valmead on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 2:30 PM.
