Jack Winkler

Jack Winkler Lenoir- Mr. John “Jack” Bunyan Winkler, Jr., age 93, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Westwood Hills in Wilkesboro. He was born in Caldwell County on May 3, 1925 to the late John Winkler and Toye Summers Winkler. Mr. Winkler attended College Avenue Baptist Church for many years and retired as a mechanic with the former Newton Transportation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Triplett Winkler; son, Michael Winkler; and brother, Douglas Winkler. He is survived by his son, Gregg Justice and wife, Katie; grandchildren, Casey Winkler and wife, Rebecca; and Megan Winkler; and great-grandson, Evan Winkler. A graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Chuck Brawley officiating.
