Jack Allen Rowell

Hudson – Jack Allen Rowell, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born in Newport News, VA on September 28, 1958 to the late Dan M. Rowell and Lillian Rose Rowell. Jack was married for 35 years to Karon Noblitt Rowell of the home. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved racing, trains, collecting coins and he enjoyed listening to music. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Rowell, Sr. and Ray Rowell. Other than his wife he is survived by his children, Krystel Rowell-Howard and husband, Richard; Shasta Keller and husband, Danny; sisters, Ruth Ann Sloane; Julia Lowman and husband, Gary; Barbara Moyer and husband, Ken; granddaughters, Jackie Pickett and Lilly Keller.He is also survived by a sister-in-law Kathy Autin and husband Bruce; brother-in-law Gerald Noblitt and wife Lisa; sister-in-law Bonnie Holsclaw and husband Mark and a special aunt, Linda Poole. A memorial service for Jack will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 with Evangelist Matt Cubbage officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, prior to the service.
