Jack Price

Lenoir –Jack W. Price, age 81, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell County on December 28,1936 to the late Fred Price and Ruth Conley Price. Jack was married to Joanne Brookshire Price of the residence for 59 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Melinda Price; grandsons, Dave Smith and Jackson Smith; sister, Anne Hodges and husband, Chris of Greensboro; niece, Andrea Funk and husband, Jeremy of Charlotte; brother-in-law, Tom Brookshire and wife, Vicki of Lenoir; special care givers, Camilla Hawn and Mary Hoyle; special friends, Charlie Suddreth, Bruce Crump and Bradley Crump. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Toby Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
