Jack Deal Hennessee, 85, of Lenoir, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 28, at his home after an extended illness and under the attentive care of his wife of 65 years, Lynda (Lynn) Bowman Hennessee. He was born December 3, 1936 to the late Albert Deal Hennessee and Jamie Blair Anderson Hennessee. Preceding him in death are his sister, Helen and brothers Tom, Roger and Robert. A lifelong resident of Lenoir, he and his wife were members of Cedar Valley United Methodist Church. He enjoyed a lifelong career in the carbide tooling industry and retired from North American Products after 40 plus years, as well as serving as a consultant after retirement. He enjoyed golfing, watching Western movies, and spending time with his family and beloved dog Sadie, who passed away recently. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Lynn Hennessee of the home, one brother, Allen Hennessee of Lenoir; three sons: Chad Hennessee of Lenoir; Grant Hennessee (Anita) of Hickory; and Dace Hennessee (Melody) of High Point, along with two adult grandchildren: Jordan Dace Hennessee of Winston-Salem and Kenan Jack Hennessee of Charlotte.
