Granite Falls, NC- Mr. J.D. ?Bunny? Hood, age 54, of Granite Falls, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at his residence. Born September 14, 1955 in Caldwell County, J.D. was a son of Faye Lingle Hood and the late Gwyn Hood. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Debra Hood Ball; a son, Damon Hood; two brothers, Burl Hood and Charles Hood; three grandchildren, Nicolas, Jenna, and Jada Ball. ?And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. And death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away.? (Revelations 21:4) The family will hold a memorial service at a later time and will be announced later by Evans Funeral Service and Crematory of Lenoir.
