Iva Trivette Penley

Iva Trivette Penley, age 70, of Lenoir, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at her residence.She was born April 11, 1951 in Caldwell County to the late Arlie Trivette and Evon Wilcox Trivette.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Penley; daughter, Tammy Annas; infant daughter, Lori Ann Freeman; brother, Jones Trivette; and sister, Wilma Bentley. Iva was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church.She enjoyed reading her Bible daily and spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Mitzi Penley and Samantha Foresman and husband Jerry; special friend, Myke Bell; grandchildren, Leigh Annas (special friend Parker), Sierra Spinks (David), Michael Bell (Abby), Chloe and Caden Penley; three great-grandsons, Madyx Annas, Carsyn Griffin, and Archer Spinks.Best Friend and sister Thelma Simmons (Emmitt); and brothers Junior Trivette (Pat); Ralph Trivette (Carolyn); Earl Trivette (special friend Ada). Additional loved family members, Brett and Brenden Foresman; Brook, Xander, and Xela Bobbitt. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Cedar Rock Baptist Church. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm with a service to follow after.
