Isaac Rual Bentley

Isaac Rual Bentley went home to be with the Lord on July 16. Mr. Bentley was born on April 23, 1940 to the late Rual Fredrick Bentley and Margaret Smith Bentley Dula. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Joyce Thomas, brother James Dula, grandmother Naomi Bentley, and aunt Ida Bentley. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his son Jeff; his son and wife, Paul and Kellie; three grandchildren, Madysan, Anthony, and Justin Price; great grandson Jayden Miles Price. He is further survived by a brother, Joe; sisters, Brenda Munday, Jean Bryant, and Linda Lunsford and her husband Thomas; and a brother Roger Dula. A celebration service will be held at Hudson First Baptist Church on Tuesday July 19 at 5PM. Officiating will be Reverend Mack Jarvis and Reverend Jim Hamby. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 4-4:45PM. Pallbearers for the service are Jerry Crump, Nelson Watson, George Carroll, Jerry Anderson, and William Lefever. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Hudson First Baptist Church Family Life Center Fund.
