Ina Bernice Severt

Ina Bernice Severt, age 72, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care Robbins Center.She was born July 19, 1946 in Watauga County to the late Randolph and Emily Coffey.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Kyland Watson. Ina was a member of Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a member of the choir.She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and helped raise most of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Bobby Earl Severt; children, Emily Quintana, Amanda Hodges, Carol Coffey, Tammy Minton, Robert Minton, and Tracey Igo; step-son, Bobby Severt, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Steve Coffey, Stanley Coffey; and sisters, Alma Calloway and Elizabeth Williams. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted Rev. Keith Gilliam and Rev. David Crisp.The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 pm at the church prior to the service.Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be, Robert Miller, Dustin Miller, Seth Watson, Barton Severt , Bruce Severt, and Bobby Severt, Jr.
