Ina Senester Clonch Marley

Ina Senester Clonch Marley passed away Friday, June 7, 2019.Ina was born to Thomas and Jennie Dancey Clonch on January 15, 1929 in North Wilkesboro, NC.She was one of nine children. Ina’s first job was in the furniture factory at the age of 14 during WWII.After that she worked for Rose Five and Dime.Ina worked in the textile industry for many years.Later she worked for several hotel chains in housekeeping.Ina was an avid walker, preferring to walk over even driving her car.She also had a special love for animals and always had them in her life. Ina was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Alonzo, Cecil, and Tommy Tam, sisters Marie, Hazel, and Mary.She is survived by son, E. Boyd (Karen), grandsons Andrew (Shilpi) and John Paul, sister Bertha (Dewey), brother Bruce (Polly) and many nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service at Flint Hill Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC28659 on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care or Caldwell County Animal Shelter.
