Ina Ruth Andrews

Ina Ruth Andrews, 87, passed away on May 2, 2021 at her home. Ruth was born in Ashe County on March 29, 1934 to the late Thomas and Ina Pearl Trivette. Ruth was married to the late Lawrence Andrews. Better known as “Mamaw,” or “Ruthie,” she was always happiest in her vegetable garden or working in her flower gardens. She lived such a full life and impacted all those around her. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth is preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Arnold. Those left to cherish her memory include: her son, Larry Andrews and wife Pat; son-in-law Jett Arnold; grandchildren: Criston Arnold, Clinton Andrews, Ashley Arnold Booth, and Tracie Arnold; and great-grandchildren: Tori Greene, Gabi Andrews, Isaac Andrews, Carter Andrews, Ryder Kirby, Canaan Booth, and Eric Sopp Jr.; and numerous other family and friends. Serving as pall bearers will be: Clint Andrews, Jett Arnold, Zack Booth, Eric Sopp, Isaac Andrews, and Tommy Garland. There will be a graveside service held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Big Flatts Baptist Church Cemetery; located at 2373 Big Flatts Church Road, Fleetwood, NC 28626. Reverend Jim Lee will be officiating. The family will be receive friends and family at Evans Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
