Illiana Lopez

Illiana Yzabeth Lopez, age 15, passed away in Caldwell County on Saturday November 9th 2019.Illiana was born July 5th 2004 in Lenoir, North Carolina. She attended Hibriten High School. She was accepted in an ID Tech Camp at NC State and received a certificate in Robotics Engineering and Coding Lab this past summer. She was of the Catholic Faith. She was involved in the Caldwell Friends, Inc. program of Caldwell County. She is survived by her mother, Rosa Lilia Barrera, sister, Viridiana Lopez, of Lenoir, and brothers Ernesto Lopez and fiancée, Katie Emmerton, Remy Leonel Lopez, nephew, of Hickory and Daniel Lopez and fiancée, Erika Lynn Hernandez, of Lenoir. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Enrique Barrera and Rosa Hernandez, of Beaufort, SC, aunts, uncles, cousins, stepfamily and numerous loving friends. Funeral arrangements in memory of Illiana Yzabeth Lopez will include Mass at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Lenoir at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 16th. Following the Mass service, there will be a receiving at 3:00 PM at Evans Funeral Service, 1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645. She was a wonderful young woman and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
