Howard Craig

Mr. Howard Samuel Craig, age 90, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his home. Born July 28, 1931 in Caldwell County, Howard was a son of the late Azor and Edna Bolick Craig.Howard was a veteran of the United States Navy.He enjoyed working on antique cars.He worked in maintenance at Rooster Bush for many years.He was also a member of Collier’s United Methodist Church.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Tony Craig; and four brothers, Ray Craig, Gene Craig, Albert Craig and Dennis Craig. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Pauline Marley Craig; a son, Ronnie Craig (wife Rita); a brother, Bruce Craig; a grandson, Tyler Weston Craig (wife Anna); a great granddaughter, Palmer Craig; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A graveside celebration of Howard’s life will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Collier’s United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Pastor Alan Craig officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy and Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard. The family request memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
