Houston Deal

Lenoir – On Sunday, August 30, 2020, Houston Wesley Deal, loving husband, father and PawPaw passed into the arms of Jesus at the age of 89. Houston was born August 10, 1931 in Caldwell County, NC to the late Wilson and Ida Deal. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Reba Eller and Lottie White, and brothers Ray and Plez Deal and great-great- grandchild, Jayden. On August 29, 1964, he married the love of his life, Revonda Andrews. Other than his wife, he leaves behind his children, Deborah Banner and her husband, Grafton Banner, Wes and Lisa Deal and Aaron and Christy Deal. Grandchildren include Johnny, Brandy, Terrence, Autumn, Payton, Moranna, Malorie and Wilson. He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren. Houston had a passion for his family and wood working. He was known for his forgiving spirit and devotion to his wife and children. Houston’s service will be private.
