Lenoir – Hieu Thi Ho, age 43, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Saigon, Vietnam on September 19, 1972. She traveled from Vietnam, alongside her brother, to the United States in 1984. She grew up in Massachusetts and later moved to Lenoir where she became the proud owner and operator of Nara Express. Hieu was preceded in death by her mother, Lieu Thi Ho. She is survived by her son, Alexander Phan; daughter, Julie Bentley and husband, Desmond Bentley; ex-husband, Ben Phan; brother, Dung Ho and wife, Lieu Vo; adoptive mother, Bette Manter and family; and many nieces, nephews and close family members in Boston and Vietnam. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 3:00 until 8:00 PM.
