Henry Anderson Holland

Henry Anderson Holland, 74, of Lenoir, NC went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 16, 2022. Henry was an incredible man of many talents and a wide scope of knowledge about many things. A quick-witted man, Henry enjoyed the finer things in life like grease under his fingernails after a long day in his garage working on his MGs and sitting at the water’s edge watching the world with his wife and grandkids. Throughout his life, he enjoyed taking his family fly fishing and hiking or simply sitting by the fireplace visiting and catching up with friends and family. As a founding named member of Davidson Holland and Whitesell CPA firm, Henry worked tirelessly and successfully to guide his clients through the exhaustive world of taxes. Afterwards, Henry enjoyed many years of retirement with his wife Gail. Over the years they could be found driving their RV to a new camping spot or sitting at the beach watching the waves and the birds with their dog Flash. Henry is survived by his wife, Gail Holland of Lenoir, his son and daughter-in-law Adam and Janet Holland, and his granddaughters Caitlin and Lillian Holland all of Newton, NC, his brother and sister-in-law John and Ranie Holland, their children and grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his son Hank Holland and his parents Cecil and Ruby Holland. Henry will be interred at Blue Ridge Memorial Park during a private graveside ceremony. The family will be receiving visitors at First Baptist Church, Lenoir, NC on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
