Hazel Louise Kidd

Hazel Louise Kidd, 96, passed away on June 9, 2022 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. Hazel was born on May 10, 1926 in Caldwell County to the late James Bryant and Rosa Tolbert Kidd. Hazel spent her career in the furniture industry. She was raised in the Wilson’s Creek area and she absolutely loved the Wilson’s Creek area. Hazel will be remembered as a loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her two daughters Shirley Hudson and Audrey Bristol; a grandson, Richard Messer. Those left to cherish the memory of Hazel include her daughters Sherry “Gail” Dellinger and Rebecca Purser; her grandchildren: Robert Dellinger, Dwayne Messer, Regina Messer, Brian Craig, Jamie Freeman, and Amanda Purser; and her great-grandchildren: Cody Reid, Heaven Reid, Cameron Messer, Chandler Cornell, Jerad Messer, Elizabeth Messer, Chansley Craig, Jacob Craig, Kalob Craig, and Elizabeth Craig. Also, Hazel is survived by family friends: Nolan Ward and James Craig. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Abundant Life Tabernacle with Evangelist Daniel Buchannan.
