Hazel Greer Billings

Hazel Billings Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Hazel Greer Billings, age 81, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2014 at Watauga Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on July 10, 1932 to the late Roy W. Greer and Grace Benge Greer. Mrs. Billings was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Billings, and infant brother and her brother, Jimmy Greer. She is survived by her sons, Stevie Billings and wife, Wanda; Michael Billings and wife, Susan; Ronnie Billings and wife, Beckie; daughter, Pat Billings Turnmire and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Christy Billings; Matthew Billings; Gene Key; Robbie McNeil; Elisha McNeil; Amanda Fellows; Joshua Billings; Wesley Billings; and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Billings̢۪ life will be held at Setzer̢۪s Creek Baptist Church on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Gary Teague officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
