Harvey Ray Sanders

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Harvey Ray Sanders, age 59 of Lenoir, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Wake Forest University, Baptist Hospital. Born June 19, 1948 in Caldwell County, Mr. Sanders was a son of the late Charlie and Mary Alice Roberts Sanders and the husband of Mary Ann Helton Sanders. Surviving other than his wife are his two daughters, Paula Gail Beaver and husband Garland L. Beaver of Lenoir; Tasha Carol Sanders and fiancée, Delaney Cole of Lenoir; 3 brothers, Bill, Dwayne and Cade Sanders, all of Lenoir; 5 sisters, Annie Mae Hice, Bonnie Downs, Mary Dickerson and Denette Walker all of Lenoir; Beatrice Greene of Newton; one Step-grandson, Nicholas Beck and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 PM Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Bethel Advent Christian Church with Pastor Keith Gilliam, Pastor David Crisp and Pastor Gray Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bethel Advent Christian Church on Saturday from 2:30 until 4:00 PM prior to the service. Pallbearers will be: Gary Dean Helton, Jr., Eldon Paul Bentley, Christian Adolph Beaver, Andy Dickerson, David Earl Greer and Jerry Lee Griffin.
