Harold Duane Gearhart

Buddy Gearhart Lenoir, NC - Harold Duane (Buddy) Gearhart Jr., native of Bluefield West Virginia, died Saturday Jan. 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Duane Gearhart Sr. and his mother Arlene Fouts Gearhart. He has a step-mother, Kathy Miles Gearhart of Lenoir, a son Harold Duane Gearhart III, and daughter- in- law, Sonya Gearhart both of Randleman, North Carolina, four sisters Nancy Gearhart Nolin of Alaska, Barbara Gearhart Hamm of Lenoir, Kimberly Gearhart Hogan of West Virginia, Joie Gearhart of Lenoir, and a brother, Jeffrey A. Gearhart Sr. also of Lenoir. There are nine nieces and nephews and 15 great- nieces and nephews. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and made a lifelong career of construction and self employment. At Buddy's request there will be no services. Arrangements with family will be at a later date. Donations can be made to Gateway Nursing Home where he resided and Caldwell Hospice, both of Lenoir.
