Harold Bean

Harold Bean Hudson – Mr. Harold Lloyd Bean, age 82, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017.Harold was born in Watauga County on August 19, 1935 to the late Roby and Virginia Bean. Mr. Bean was a Sergeant of the United States Army and retired from Century Furniture after 42 years of service.Harold pastored Buffalo Cove Baptist, Laytown Baptist and Piney Grove Baptist churches. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Juanita Frye Bean; his son, Kevin Harold Bean and wife Natasha; a sister, Virginia Murphy and husband Glen; a brother, Marshall Bean and wife Jane; grandchildren, Kelly Helton and husband Ross, Brittany Bean, Evan Bean and Brodi Pope; and one greatgrandchild, Jhyon Tate. A celebration of Mr. Bean’s life will be held at the Dry Ponds Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 26 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Rob Evans, Pastor Rick Crouse and Pastor Sam Craven and comments by Brent and Brian Dula. Interment will immediately follow the service at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm prior to the service.
