Harley Carroll Land

Lenoir, NC – Mr. Harley Carroll Land, age 47, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell County on April 7, 1965 to David Land and Madlene Watson Land. He was married to Laura Bernice Land. Mr. Land was preceded in death by his grandmother, Naomi Story; grandparents, Robert Lee and Minnie Mary Land; aunts, Mary Chandler and Martha Watson; and his uncles, Wayne Watson and J. C. Land. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his step-daughter, Taylor Andrews; brothers, Eddie Land and wife, Angela; John Land and wife, Tina; David L. Land; sisters, Diane Small; Glenda Beane and husband, Greg; brother-in-law, Andy Small; eight nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mr. Land’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Eddie Land, John Land, David L. Land, Tony Land, Andy Small, and Brent Small.
