Gwindola Bryant Franklin

Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Gwindola Bryant Franklin, age 82, of Granite Falls, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at her home. Born March 13, 1931 in Caldwell County, Gwindola was a daughter of the late Coot and Kate Munday Bryant. She was a cosmetologist and had attended Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Robert Dula and James Wesley Dula. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Laws of Lenoir, and a son, Jack Edward Dula of Granite Falls; a sister, Annie Rockette of Marion; she is survived by eight  grandchildren, 14great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Gwindola’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Ed Warren officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
