Hudson, NC- Mrs. Guynell Justice Watson, age 78, of Hudson, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born May 8, 1931 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Watson was a daughter of the late Guy and Anne Hendrik Justice. Mrs. Watson attended First Advent Christian Church, had worked in furniture and was a homemaker. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Justice. Surviving is her husband, Kermit Watson; sons, Mr. & Mrs. James D. Austin of Travelers Rest, SC; Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Russell Austin of Lenoir; Daughters, Mrs. Allen (Ann) Webb of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Glen (Carol) Coffey of Lenoir; Step-daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Terry (Debbie) Brawley of Morganton; Mr. & Mrs. Carl (Shelia) Hefner of Valdese. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law, Violet Huffman of Lenoir; Shirley Ritch of Lenoir; Edith Lackey of Rhodhiss and one brother-in-law, Dennis Ritch of Lenoir. A celebration of Mrs. Watson?s life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Gary Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery in Lenoir. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Evans Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be: Don Prestwood, Norn Prestwood, Lucas Duncan, Steven Duncan and adopted Grandsons, Travis Minton, Jason Minton and Grandsons, Jonathan Brawley and Derick Brawley.
