Guy Craig

Lenoir – Mr. Guy Melvin Craig, age 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care. He was born in Caldwell County on January 27, 1930 to the late John and Cora Smith Craig. Mr. Craig worked in the furniture industry for many years and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Campbell Craig; brothers, Floyd, Quinton, and Herbert Craig; sisters, Carrie Crotts, Colene Yount and Effie Chandler. Mr. Craig is survived by his nieces and nephews, Gene, Larry and Raymond Crotts; Joyce Curtis; Fred Craig; Wanda Heffner; Mildred Hall; Billy and Kenneth Craig; Jane Greene; Brenda Perry; Jerry Yount; Pat Clark; Kathy Williams; Gail Younce and Janice Wolfarth. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Jerry Yountofficiating.
