Grace Watson

Granite Falls – Mrs. Grace McCrary Watson, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Lenoir Healthcare. She was born in Caldwell County on April 29, 1923 to the late Felix and Orpha Presnell McCrary. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Watson; brother, Banks M. McCrary; and sisters, Ethel McCrary, Sue Benfield and Mavis Greene. Mrs. Watson is survived by her son, Thomas R. Watson of the home. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Graveside rites will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sam Craven, Pastor Jeff Lambert and Pastor Tony Greer officiating.
