Grace Coffey

Grace Coffey, 87, of Lenoir passed away Friday, November 4, 2022.  Grace was born in Watauga County to the late Robert and Carrie Church.

In addition to her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Coffey, her son, “Snotty Scotty”; three sisters, and two brothers.

Grace is survived by her three sons, two daughters, ten grandkids, 18 great-grand kids, numerous other nieces, nephews, and relatives.  She also loved her furry animals; Fred the chicken, Poochie the dog, and Aflac the duck.

Grace was known for being a wonderful mother, a hard worker, and a good housewife.  She loved her hummingbirds and her chickens.  Grace came from a Christian family, loved to sing, read books, color, loved cooking, and she welcomed anyone into her home.  She was loved and will be immensely missed by all who knew her.
