Glenn Avery Minton

Glenn Avery Minton, 79, of Hudson, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Wilkes County to Dollie and Garfield Minton on November 9, 1943.  He was retired from manufacturing work.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Jack Minton, and four children, Dollie Darlene, Phillip Avery, Randy Jeffery, and Glenn Garfield Minton.

Glenn Avery is survived by his wife, Nellie Minton of Lenoir; son, Gary Minton and wife Michelle of Lenoir; four grandchildren, Crystal Watson of Wilkes, Gary “Lee” Minton, Jr. of Lenoir, Jessica Minton of Lenoir, and Ross Minton of Georgia; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
