George Gary Walker

Gary Walker Lenoir, NC- Mr. George Gary Walker, age 69, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Mr. Walker was born on February 19, 1943 in Caldwell County to the late George Walker and Juanita Cline Walker and was married to the late Sue Smith Walker. He owned and operated Gary’s Foreign Car Service for more than 30 years. He is survived by his fiancée, Carolyn Prestwood; brothers, Roger Walker and wife, Frances, Ronnie Walker, and Ted Walker; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mr. Walker’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 2:00 with Pastor James Rich officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
