Evans Funeral Service & Crematory 754-7979 May 2, 2012 Freida Jones Lenoir, NC- Freida Edmisten Jones, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born in Caldwell County on February 2, 1952 to Fred Morris Edmisten and Betty Sue Braswell Edmisten. She was married to the late Ralph W. Jones, Jr. Mrs. Jones was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church. Other than her parents she is survived by her daughter, Casey Jones; son, David Hinson; son, Darrell Jones and wife, Beth; sister, Paula McLeod; brothers, Keith Edmisten and Glenn Edmisten; grandchildren, Brooke Hinson, Jeffrey Ohmer, Jordan Jones, Joshua Jones and wife, Nayeli; great-granddaughter, Sophia Jones; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Jones’ life will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mulberry Baptist Church with Pastor Bennett Helton officiating.  Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Roland, Raymond Bryant, Joshua Jones, Jordan Jones, Gary Jones, and James Todd. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
