Freda Greer Sanders

Mrs. Freda Greer Sanders, age 88, of Lenoir, NC passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Lenoir Healthcare Center. She was born on August 5, 1934 in Watauga County to James Monroe and Flora Elthel Tucker Greer. She was a furniture worker at the Broyhill Harper Plant for 48 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Harrison (Tub) Sanders; one son Gary Sanders; two daughters Audry Sanders and Patricia Chester; three sisters Ila Gentle, VC Greer, and Reba Wilcox, three brothers Hershel, James, and JC Greer. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Price and husband Johnny; three sons Larry Sanders and wife Judy, Buddy Sanders and wife Regina, Randy Sanders and wife Rachel, all of Lenoir, NC; one sister Floy Gentle and husband Wayne of Kannapolis; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 22nd, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Evans Funeral Service Chapel conducted by Rev. James Wilfong and Rev. Rodney Raby officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Price, Josh Price, Kenny Johnson, Kyle Haney, Tommy Bryant, Dilan Price, Austin Reid, and Randy Brown.
