Fred Rash

Granite Falls, NC- Mr. Fred Rash, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Brian Center – Viewmont. He was born in Pennsylvania on May 25, 1930 to the late Cooge Rash and Bonnie Latham Rash. This year he celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with his wife Wilma Rash that passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013. In addition to his parents and wife Mr. Rash was preceded in death by his daughter, Loretta Rash; one sister and four brothers. Mr. Rash is survived by his sons, Tony Rash and Greg Rash; one brother; grandsons, Adam Toliver and Dallas Rash; granddaughter, Victoria Rash; great-granddaughter, Alyia Greene; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mr. Rash’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 12:30 with David Brown, Pastor Tony Hamby and Pastor Phillip Coffey officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:30 prior to the service.
