Frankie Ross

Mrs. Frankie Droke Ross, age 81, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. Born June 4, 1939 in Madison county, Tennessee, Frankie was a daughter of the late Aaron and Alice Malone Droke.Frankie loved playing golf and traveling.She was an active member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Ronnie Ross; a sister, Janette Lovvo; a brother, Gene Droke. Survivors include her two children, Janet Ross Bradshaw (husband Greg) and Randy Ross; a sister, Nancy Ogden (husband Bill); a brother, Wayne Droke; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Frankie’s life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association- Western Carolina Chapter at 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC28209 or Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC28645.
