Frances Sanders

Lenoir – Mrs. Frances Lipsey Sanders, age 66, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Burke Hospice. She was born in Gaffney, SC on June 13, 1950 to the late Elbert Lipsey and Jenelle Duncan Lipsey. She was married to Randy Sanders of the residence. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Bodford; brothers, Bill Lipsey, Danny Lipsey, and Doug Lipsey; and her sister, Melinda Pennington. Other than her husband, she is survived by her children, Ronnie Bodford; Billy Bodford; Serena Parker and husband, Jeremy; and Brooke Beheler and husband, Chris; brothers, Junior Lipsey and wife, Betty Gail; LaVonne Lipsey and wife, Peggy; and Terry Lipsey and wife, Cheryl; and 12 grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Sanders life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Lori Anne Bowen officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service.
