Floyd Hal Harmon

Lenoir- Floyd Hal Harmon, age 68, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Watauga County on January 18, 1951 to the late Robert and Lena Cornett Harmon. Floyd enjoyed working on his dune buggies and showing them at shows in and around North Carolina where he received numerous trophies over the years. He worked at Bernhardt Furniture for more than 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jewel and his nephew, Troy. Floyd is survived by his daughters, Nicole White and husband, Cody; and Brandy Harmon; sister, Carol Forrester and Dean Hammond; grandchildren, Bryson, Aiden and John; and nephew, Shannon. A memorial service for Floyd will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
