Lenoir, NC- Mr. Floyd Enlo Gragg, age 75, of Lenoir passed away at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Hudson on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Born June 22, 1936 in Avery County, Floyd was a son of the late, Grant and Earlene Davis Gragg. Floyd was Baptist by faith. He worked many years with Thomasville Furniture before retiring. He enjoyed doing odd jobs including building bird houses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Watson Gragg; two daughters, Linda Gragg and Patricia Gragg; one son Ray Gragg; one brother, Ronald Gragg; and one sister, Loretta Miller. Survivors include three daughters and a son in law, Debbie Auton, Stephanie and Jeffery Greene, and Crystal Jackson all of Lenoir; three sons and daughters in law, David and Patricia Gragg, Marty and Sherry Gragg, and Tony Gragg all of Lenoir; two sisters and brothers in law, Phyills and Charles Coffey of Lenoir, and Evelyn and Alan Church of Hildebran; two brothers and sister in law, Jerry and Alma Gragg and Terry Gragg both of Lenoir; Floyd is survived by 32 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A celebration of Floyd’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Alan Younce, Pastor Brian Auton and Pastor Roger Calloway officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Hartley Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Service & Crematory.
